Grandma Maud’s, a southern style food manufacturer is thanking their customers by hosting a Facebook Trivia Giveaway. During July 22 through August 12 the company is giving away 10 gift bags with free products in them and a Jewel-Osco gift card every Sunday!
During the hard times we are facing in the economy a trend was started and this trend was “Social Media.” People started finding different and cheaper ways to entertain themselves and the social media outlets proved to do just this. Entertainment was not the only cutback people faced. Money, budgets and costs were being cut everywhere, but there were certain products people could not stop purchasing. Products such as food, gas, cleaning supplies, etc, were still in high demand.
The new wave brought on a change in people’s brand preferences and this was based on the value people put on what they wanted and what they had to have. One of those changes lead to buyers choosing Grandma Maud’s products. Grandma Maud’s Bean Meals, Southern Seasoning and Pie Fixin” are flying off the shelves. With homemakers going back to work, they were in need of a delicious hot meal that didn’t take all day and most importantly sold at a great price.
Grandma Maud’s decided it was time to show families how much they cared. The company started a Facebook Trivia Contest on their company’s page and coupled it with a Jazz at Jewel-Osco event that is going on in Chicago. The Jazz at Jewel-Osco event started July 22, 2012 and is running through August 12, 2012. Every Sunday during those days there will be a Jazz band playing in pre-picked Jewel-Osco Chicago locations from 12 to 4pm. There are also over twelve vendors sampling their products throughout the store.
Grandma Maud’s is one of the vendors sampling products, but they are also passing out gifts. The Facebook Trivia Giveaway was meant to give families a fun way to get free gifts. The company is giving away 10 gift bags of products every week of the Jazz event. They are also giving away Jewel-Osco gift cards every week to lucky families. All people had to do was go to Grandma Maud’s Facebook page and like it. Monday through Thursday during the Jazz event there is a trivia question posted and players get to answer the questions all day.
