Ingredients
  1. Chicken or Vegetable Broth 6 cups
  2. Collar Green 2 pounds
  3. Drippings or Canola Oil or Olive Oil 4 cup
  4. Onion (chopped)½ cup
  5. Garlic (minced)1 tablespoon
  6. Southern Seasoning 4 tablespoons
  7. Salt 1 tablespoon
  8. Sugar 1 tablespoon
  9. Crushed Red Pepper 1 ½ teaspoon
Instructions
  1. To boiling Broth, add two tablespoons of Southern 
Seasoning and Oil.
  2. Add Greens, stir and cook for 15 minutes.
  3. Sauté Onion and Garlic to a light golden brown.
  4. Add to Greens and stir well. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Add Salt, Sugar, Red Pepper and the remaining Southern Seasoning. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until Greens are tender.
Notes
  1. For our meat lover friends, top with crispy smoked bacon before serving.

  4. Red Onion ½ cup
  5. Garlic ½ tablespoon
  6. Southern Seasoning 4 teaspoons
  7. Salt ½ tablespoon
  8. Sugar ½ teaspoon
  9. Black Pepper ½ teaspoon
Instructions
  1. To boiling Broth, add two teaspoons of Southern 
Seasoning and Oil.
  2. Add Green Beans, stir and cook 
for 15 minutes.
  3. Sauté chopped Onions and minced Garlic to a light golden brown. Add to Green Bean mixtures and stir well. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Add Salt, Sugar, Black Pepper and the remaining 
Southern Seasoning. Cover and simmer for 20 
minutes or until Green Beans are tender.

  2. 1 Pound of Green Beans
  3. 4 tsp Grandma Maud's Southern Seasoning
Instructions
  1. Wash and trim tips from green beans.
  2. Blanch Green Beans In 2 Inches of water 8 minutes
  3. Drain sauté blanched beans in olive oil, season cook until desired tenderness.
