Hello everyone, let’s spend today talking about Social Networks. Grandma Maud’s has used Social Networks such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn for the past couple years. Only recently did we decide to make our social network pages completely customer based. We have had great success with this. Customers are now able to ask questions and get real time responses without having to pick up a phone and listen to “elevator” music or go through a whole dance with an automated system. Our customers are also able to put up requests, such as sales or recipes and we are able to be right there “Johnny on the Spot” for you.
Another thing we are able to do with our customer based social media outlets is give our customers free stuff, yes that’s right free stuff. We have run several promotions and contests that have allowed our customers to be entertained while getting free products, gift cards, etc.
Social Networks are the contact mediums of today. Remember when there was a time when you didn’t get to see your family member for years because you both had to deal with “life”, or family. Maybe you just lived in a different state from that family member. Now thanks to social media outlets, we never have to miss out on relatives’ great life events, actually we never have to miss a relative period. These networks are bringing families together; they are adding network structure to lives that didn’t have them. They have given people a place to be themselves, a friend to talk to, a picture to look at and even a lifetime mate or job in some instances. This is why Grandma Maud’s felt it was important to not only become part of these communities, but to make sure we become part of a community and not create one. Our customers are the most important thing in our business and we want our customers to feel like we are just a neighbor who makes their lives a little easier.
Grandma Maud’s Premium Bean Meals, Grandma Maud’s Southern Seasoning and Grandma Maud’s Pie Fixin’ are all comfort products and that’s how we want you to see us and think of us, comforting. We had some customers post pictures of their babies on our facebook page and give us rights to use them. That was so amazing, all Grandma Maud’s facebook team could think was wow, they really have accepted us into their community. What a proud and touching moment that was.
Now we are asking to become part of your community. We want to accept and offer the same comforts and trust with you. Visit Grandma Maud’s facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/GrandmaMauds?ref=hl and like our page. We want you to know we are also there to answer your questions and or talk to you.
Thank you Facebook Family and thank you to Little Eli for having beautiful pictures to share with Grandma Maud’s and for allowing Grandma Maud’s to share them with our Facebook Family!
